The spooky moment a member of staff falls after a crate mysteriously moves across the floor of a supermarket has been captured on camera.
A shop owner claims their store has a resident ghost who plays pranks on Elise Mullen as she restocked a drinks fridge.
CCTV footage from the Bourtreehill Supermarket in Irvine, Scotland, shows employee Elise Mullen restocking the drinks fridge.
As she goes to stand on a crate to stock the top shelves, it suddenly moves away from her.
She crashes to the floor pulling cans down on herself.
In the video there is a clear gap between the bottom of Elise’s foot and the crate.
The shop owner claims the store’s resident ghost, called “Stacy”, was behind the prank.
“Stacy moves the crate to teach Elise a lesson – don’t be flirting with her man in the store,” they said.
“Elise was fine just really sore butt, but when we reviewed the CCTV noticed crate appears to moved without being touched.”
Since being uploaded to Twitter 7,000 people have watched the clip.
One person said: “This is actually mental, I can’t get over it.”
Another asked: “Wait, it moved on its own?”
“This is spooky,” another added.
It comes after a “wailing woman” in a tree has terrified people in Colombia who say she is a cursed spirit known as La Llorona who drowned her children and then killed herself.
A hunched human-like shape can be seen perched at the top of a tree while a horrible bellowing noise can be heard ringing out through the forest.
